about

One of the most legendary comedians of the early 1960's, Allan Sherman broke sale barriers selling over 1 million albums in 1962 of his "My Son, The Folk Singer" LP for WB. He inspired countless comedians to record song parodies paving the way for the most infamous of all, Weird Al Yankovic.

Recorded live at the Copa Room of the Las Vegas Sands Hotel & Casino on October 19, 1965 this rare comedy concert recording magically transports you back to the Rat Pack-era age of Vegas. Features the classic song parodies "You Got To Have Skin" (You Got To Have Heart), "Somewhere Overweight People" (Over The Rainbow) and "Downtown, That's Where You Are You Finks" and many others.

The set is one of three rare Allan Sherman titles available from Liberation Hall. Purchase all 3 together on digital download for a 30% off discount.
